Calorie Calculator

Post by adrianfoo »

so when you wanna store food for SHTF, it would be good to build a calculator to see how much food you have and multiply that with the number of people you want to feed.

An example is https://www.nutritionix.com/food/uncooked-rice

200g of uncooked white rice is 720 Calories, which will cooked out to about 4x its size.

1 cup of cooked white rice is 210 calories.

using Excel you can gauge how much food you have and how much you need to store for 3,6,9,12 month storage. bear in mind that most of the time you will need to store about 12 months to be saved of dried grains, and supplement with fishing and canned food etc.
